Our cowhides (hair on) are from Brazil and Argentina for the most part. Most of our leathers come from Europe and are Aniline dyed leathers. We only use Full Top Grain leathers , never splits - leather match or top grain (corrected) hides.
Le Corbusier referred to his 1928 chaise lounge as a “relaxing machine.” We were inspired to re-create his ingenious design in chrome-finished steel and natural cowhide.
The curving frame sits on a lacquered steel base, allowing you to adjust your position while you recline. Haired hides are a natural product and no two are alike. Each hide has a varying pattern of black, brown and white spots.
